The Jerri Builders Story

I take pride in my customer service. I live in a small town, so I know my customers personally. I want to build strong relationships with them that will last for years. This page tells the story of how that mindset began for me.

The moment the client shares their goals for their project, we begin looking for ways to exceed those goals.
Jerri Jo Miller, Owner

Jerri Jo’s father was a successful home builder in the Raleigh, NC area. In 1990, she began helping him manage the financial aspects of home building. After working in his office for a few years, she was ready for a new challenge and decided to add Superintendent to her job description.

Soon she was in the trenches, managing multiple crews for her fathers home building business.  Jerri Jo loved working in the field and had a knack for understanding what makes a home stand the test of time. She began sharpening her building techniques and really learning what customers were looking for in a home. She soon put this experience to good use building her very own homes.

1996

In 1996, she branched out on her own and got her General Contractor license from the state of North Carolina. She started building her first home just outside Raleigh in Knightdale, NC. Soon she was building about 15 homes per year, each of them a reflection of her determination and commitment to quality.

She quickly became well known in the industry, and her hard work and dedication were noticed by home building associations and organizations. In 2000, she entered her first Parade of Homes competition, where she was awarded a perfect score and won Gold!  Since then, she has added several more Gold awards to her growing list of accolades, including wins in Carteret and Onslow counties.

Jerri Jo loves what she does and is proud to carry on the tradition passed down to her by her father. She weaves the core values of honesty, hard work, and dedication into every one of her homes. Her commitment to excellence and her attention to detail allows her to successfully combine a high standard of quality with a woman’s touch. That results in amazing homes that are not only beautiful but built to deliver years of comfort and value to the owners.

Work With Her

What makes them distinct is a woman’s touch… A woman’s style and architecture; a woman’s attention to detail; a woman’s connection to their clients; and a woman’s communication on how to attain your dream home.
